Devops Engineer

Our client, a Leading Quant Hedge Fund, is currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help support their state-of-the-art trading ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to build and maintain the infrastructure that supports the Hedge Fund's trading systems
• Work with development teams to design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines
• Generate new ideas and drive the rapid adoption of new processes/systems.
• Provide hands-on support to the trading team in a collaborative environment

Desirable Candidates:

• 5+ years of relevant DevOps / SRE / Trading Systems support experience across infrastructure and applications
• Strong Python and shell scripting experience
• Experience working with Linux and ideally some AWS
• Solid understanding of automation and cloud operations
• Familiarity with DevOps best practices and creating CI / CD pipelines (Gitlab, etc.)
