Devsecops Service Engineer

Description:

CloudFit Software is seeking a DevSecOps Service Engineer to design, deploy, and operate customer solutions using a blend of commercial, open-source, and cloud-native technologies. In this role, you will support technical implementations, contribute to product features, collaborate with clients and engineers, and help modernize systems to meet customer needs. You will also engage in training to enhance your professional skills while promoting automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design cloud-native solutions using Azure and related technologies.

• Support implementations and improve capabilities to meet customer needs.

• Contribute to product features from backlog through support, applying engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with engineers, users, and management to turn requirements into deployable software.

• Translate customer business requirements into technological solutions.

• Maintain accountability for product features from requirement gathering to continued operations.

• Participate in company culture and contribute to engineering meetings and customer reviews.

• Promote automation to improve operational efficiency.

• Provide customer support during on-call rotations for production workloads.

• Travel to support customers in air-gapped environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Basic understanding of Agile tools, cloud platforms (Azure), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Docker, Jenkins).

• Familiarity with infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).

• Eagerness to learn and grow in DevSecOps areas (e.g., Python, SIEM, system administration on Windows/Linux).

Nice to Have:

• Technical certifications in CompTIA Security+, Azure, Cloud, Security, and DevOps.

• Active Federal Security Clearance.
