As a Dialysis RN, you will play a key role in providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. You’ll work in a supportive, patient-centered environment with lower caregiver-to-patient ratios, ensuring high-quality, personalized care for individuals living with chronic kidney disease. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dialysis machines, alarms, and treatment supplies, ensuring compliance with all quality and safety standards.

  • Administer hemodialysis treatments following facility policies and procedures.

  • Monitor patients closely during dialysis, assessing conditions and communicating changes to physicians and family members.

  • Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching to support long-term wellness.

  • Administer and document prescribed medications accurately.

  • Follow infection control regulations (CDC/CMS guidelines) to maintain a safe clinical environment.

  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.

  • Assist in maintaining medication inventory and contribute to onboarding new nursing staff.

  • Lead a small patient care team to deliver optimal clinical outcomes.

  • Ensure continuity of care with hospitals and other healthcare providers.


Education & Training Requirements:

  • Accredited nursing degree required.

  • Active RN license in the state of Georgia (or eligibility for licensure).

  • Dialysis experience is not required – DCI provides a 12-week comprehensive paid training program that includes classroom instruction and one-on-one clinical mentorship.

  • New nursing graduates are encouraged to apply.
