Description:

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join their Warfare Systems team in Dayton, OH. The role involves acting as the DSP Subject Matter Expert, developing and maintaining digital signal processing software, presenting status reports, evaluating tools and technologies, and collaborating in a multi-discipline agile team environment. Candidates must be capable of transitioning processing models into hardware reality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and enhancing digital signal processing software.

• Evaluating tools, technologies, and processes for improvement.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve technical objectives.

• Performing job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum Secret clearance required to start; must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.

• 3+ years of DSP experience including cellular/satellite communications, wireless protocols, algorithms, and data analysis.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with C/C++, MATLAB, Python, CUDA/FPGA.

• Familiarity with RF test equipment.

• Knowledge of X-Midas, GNU Radio, REDHAWK, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
