Direct Support Professional

The Day Hab program in Slingerlands, NY, is offering a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) role. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. This hourly role focuses on supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities both onsite and in the community.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support and care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Help develop communication and interpersonal skills in clients.

• Assist clients in exploring new areas of interest on-site and in the community.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Valid driver’s license meeting WWAARC insurability standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• No previous experience required.
