Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club, a premier private country club in Monmouth County, New Jersey, is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead its vibrant and multifaceted dining operations. With a 90,000-square-foot clubhouse nestled among meticulously maintained grounds, the club offers members exclusive access to an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, a swimming pool complex, and multiple dining venues including a Member’s Grill, upscale steakhouse, Tiki Bar, outdoor patio, Halfway House, and Pool Bar & Kitchen.

The Director of Dining Services will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all member dining areas, ensuring exceptional service and high standards across all front-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a dynamic, visible, and service-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all dining operations and staff including dining supervisors, reservation hosts, and service personnel.

  • Oversee reservation systems, dining floor plans, and guest flow to optimize service delivery.

  • Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate front-of-house staff to maintain consistency in hospitality and service.

  • Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate special events, menu updates, and member preferences.

  • Ensure compliance with appearance, hygiene, and safety standards.

  • Monitor dining room appearance and cleanliness; coordinate with maintenance and culinary teams as necessary.

  • Manage POS systems, complete daily closeouts, and approve payroll in coordination with the Controller’s Office.

  • Handle member concerns and complaints professionally, resolving service issues promptly.

  • Maintain inventory of dining-related items and ensure proper storage and accountability.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on weekly menu updates, beverage promotions, and wine list enhancements.

  • Ensure full compliance with state laws and club policies regarding alcoholic beverage service.

  • Maintain and update SOPs and training manuals to streamline service and control costs.

  • Secure all club areas post-service and ensure proper closing procedures are followed.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role within dining services or hospitality management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on member satisfaction.

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and lead a team under pressure.

  • Knowledge of POS systems and front-of-house operations.

  • Ability to physically perform the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
