Description:

Mitchell Martin Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Federal & Integrated Regulatory Guidance to provide strategic leadership in navigating complex and evolving healthcare regulations. This role is a fully remote position (with occasional in-office presence for strategic meetings), supporting a broad portfolio of federally integrated healthcare products.

The Director will be responsible for ensuring that all health plan operations and business activities align with regulatory requirements. As a leader of a team of regulatory professionals, you will interpret federal and integrated healthcare regulations, provide actionable guidance, and collaborate across departments to maintain compliant operations in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of regulatory experts in the analysis and interpretation of healthcare laws and managed care requirements.

  • Guide business teams on regulatory impacts and develop strategies to ensure compliance.

  • Maintain oversight of compliance programs and integrated regulatory frameworks across health plan operations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, audits, and compliance issues.

  • Build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

  • Contribute to high-level policy discussions, strategic planning, and risk assessments related to federal regulations.

  • Lead or participate in key meetings and business collaborations as needed (remote with occasional in-office requirements).


Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Healthcare Administration, Law, Public Health, etc.)

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the healthcare sector.

  • Proven leadership roles in compliance or regulatory departments.

  • Solid understanding of healthcare law, managed care regulations, and federal healthcare policies.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills.

  • High integrity, sound judgment, and discretion.

  • Skilled in legal research, policy interpretation, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines.


Compensation:

  • Annual Salary Range: USD 105000 – 150000

  • Monthly Equivalent: USD 8750 – 12500
