Description:
Division 9 Construction, LLC, a well-established commercial framing, drywall, and carpentry company, is actively seeking a Director of Field Operations to lead and oversee all field operations across multiple construction sites. Based in Collegeville, PA and serving projects across the region, this is a senior leadership opportunity ideal for a results-oriented professional with strong field experience and a proven ability to manage large teams and complex construction projects.
As the Director of Field Operations, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and budget control. You will be responsible for mobilization, manpower allocation, material coordination, and mentoring Foremen to achieve project targets on time and within budget. The role is critical in aligning field execution with overall project planning and client satisfaction.
Lead, supervise, and mentor Foremen and field crews across multiple projects.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality compliance.
Initiate and lead project kickoff meetings with field personnel and subcontractors.
Collaborate closely with Project Management to align schedules, manpower, and goals.
Oversee mobilization of materials, tools, lifts, and equipment to job sites.
Manage material procurement and delivery to support project deadlines and cost efficiency.
Strategically allocate manpower to maximize field productivity across all active projects.
Track labor hours and productivity metrics, ensuring cost control and project budgets are maintained.
Monitor and report on field operations budgets, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain regular communication with the President of Construction and other stakeholders on field performance.
Uphold strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company-wide safety protocols.
7–10+ years in commercial framing, drywall, or carpentry
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or field leadership role
Deep understanding of construction methods, blueprints, materials, and equipment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficient with construction scheduling tools and MS Office Suite
Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar construction software
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
OSHA 30 Certification
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
