Description:
The Director of Organizational Development will provide strategic and operational leadership for educational programs serving school-age students and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), including Autism. This role ensures all programs are individualized, person-centered, and inclusive. The Director will also lead workforce development initiatives, including implementing and overseeing the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) credentialing program for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Frontline Supervisors.
Provide leadership for educational programs for individuals with IDD and Autism.
Ensure programs are person-centered, individualized, and inclusive.
Lead workforce development initiatives and oversee the NADSP credentialing program.
Support Frontline Supervisors and DSPs through credentialing and professional development.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, Psychology, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred in Special Education, Educational Leadership, Psychology, or related field.
Valid teaching or administrative certification required.
Knowledge of day habilitation, supported employment, or community integration programs.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional practices.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends effectively.
