Description:
As a Director of Sales, National Accounts - White Cap, you’ll be part of our Global Tools and Storage division working as a remote employee with 50% travel. As an effective Sales Director you will have responsibilities for directing and executing strategic sales initiatives for White Cap to achieve and exceed OP plan within the US Commercial business. Overall, this candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales cycle which includes presentations, execution, forecasting, POS reviews and promotional planning for this very important customer. You’ll get to:
- Develop & Execute the Commercial Strategy with the White Cap.
- Provide competitive insights and recommendations to marketing teams
- Ensure messaging and tactics comply with overall channel and brand strategy and make recommendations on improvements if needed
- Be the Commercial Sales subject matter expert and assume leadership role for the team.
- Set Team OP plans and assure profitability of business by managing all budgets effectively
- Own customer relationship across all assigned accounts
- Develop and execute strategic plans, both short term and long term
- Lead the MAPP / S&OP process for the assigned accounts. Ensure plans are in place to meet monthly and quarterly commitments.
- Develop the promotional plans to support growth expectations of the commercial business.
- Execute on new product introductions in line with the (assigned customer) potential and commercial expectations.
- Effectively lead a team of National Account Managers, and potentially Sales Analysts.
- Take a leadership role in partnering with Marketing and Finance to secure resources and programs to grow our market share with White Cap.
- Partner cross-functionally with Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Finance, and Brand Marketing to drive Commercial sales execution.
- Collaborate with internal Supply Chain teams to manage stock and fill rates to ensure acceptable service levels.
