The Director of the Psychoeducational Diagnostic and Intervention Clinic – Psychologist will oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring high-quality diagnostic, assessment, and intervention services for children, adolescents, and adults. This full-time, on-site role based in Muncie, IN includes supervising clinical staff and trainees, coordinating service delivery, and maintaining best practices in psychoeducational evaluation and evidence-based interventions. The Director will conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments, interpret results, and provide clear reports and recommendations to clients, families, and schools. Additional responsibilities include developing and updating clinical protocols, collaborating with faculty to support training and research activities, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and accreditation standards. The role also involves outreach to community partners, contributing to program development within the Teachers College, and supporting the clinic’s mission of inclusive, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in psychoeducational assessment and intervention, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized tests.
• Strong skills in clinical supervision, mentoring, and training of graduate students or early-career practitioners in a clinic or academic setting.
• Proficiency in case conceptualization, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions for learning, behavioral, and socio-emotional concerns.
• Effective communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to clients, families, educators, and other professionals.
• Experience with program administration, including scheduling, workflow management, budget oversight, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practice in assessment, intervention, and supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with university faculty, staff, and community partners to support teaching, research, and outreach goals.
• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure or license-eligibility as a psychologist in the state of Indiana, and eligibility for relevant board certifications, as applicable.
