The Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Youth Services to lead its Youth Enrichment Fund (YEF) initiatives. This full-time, exempt role is critical in strategically developing, implementing, and expanding youth-oriented programs that support education, leadership, and community engagement. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director will be the central point of contact for the YEF Board of Directors and will be responsible for driving a broad spectrum of impactful youth-focused programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance & Leadership:

• Act as the principal staff liaison for the YEF Board of Directors, providing strategic guidance, administrative support, and regular progress updates.

• Collaborate closely with the Financial and Fundraising Committees to craft and manage annual budgets, fundraising strategies, and financial reporting.

Program Oversight:

• Lead the CHOICES® program's growth and delivery, ensuring alignment with the Youth Enrichment Fund’s mission and desired outcomes.

• Oversee the Destiny / Powell Scholarships, managing application processes, coordinating with selection committees, and organizing award ceremonies.

• Plan and execute the Destiny Auction & Dinner, including sponsor coordination, logistics, and community engagement.

• Support the Youth Education Committee in designing and implementing educational programs that drive positive outcomes.

• Manage Student Contests that foster creativity, academic excellence, and civic participation.

• Direct the Future Business Leaders program, focusing on high school student mentorship and career development.

Technology & Communications:

• Maintain the Youth Enrichment Fund’s website, ensuring accurate and timely updates.

• Set up and manage youth-related events using ChamberMaster and the Chamber’s main website to boost visibility and participation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in youth services, nonprofit operations, or community outreach.

• Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in digital tools, including website content management systems and event scheduling platforms like ChamberMaster.

• Deep passion for youth empowerment, education, and community impact.
