Description:

Memorial Healthcare System, a leading healthcare provider in Florida, is seeking Dishwasher - Porter associates to support its Foodservice Department at the Pembroke Pines location. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, ensuring smooth operations in the hospital’s kitchen and foodservice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver meal trays to assigned areas, as well as retrieve trays from patient rooms or designated locations.

• Comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards for kitchen safety, sanitation, and infection control.

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and carts using proper techniques and cleaning solutions.

• Perform warewashing duties in compliance with safety guidelines, including operation of dishmachines and three-compartment pot sinks.

• Regularly collect and dispose of all food-related and recyclable waste/trash to maintain a clean environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: No degree required.

• Experience: No prior experience required.

• Skills: Ability to work in a stressful environment, follow instructions, and take appropriate action when necessary.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive hand/arm movements.

• Ability to lift/carry 0–75 lbs non-patient items and push/pull 0–75 lbs non-patient items.

• Exposure to dust, gas/vapors/fumes, hazardous chemicals, extreme heat/cold, fire risk, moving mechanical parts, needles/sharp objects, and wet/slippery surfaces.

• Continuous mobility required during shifts; must maintain attention to safety and sanitation at all times.
