Distribution Marketing Manager

Description:

The Software Marketing team in Intel's Software and Technology Group is seeking a oneAPI Distribution Marketing Manager who can drive adoption of oneAPI toolkits and components across developer distribution channels. In this role you will communicate the benefits of Intel oneAPI to developers utilizing external software developer tool and library distribution sites, and work to ensure Intel tools are properly visible for each developer community. You will monitor tool acquisition volume, participate in community forums focused on those distribution channels, and create and maintain collateral for developers using each of those channels. This role is a good fit for a developer who has a passion for great developer experiences, has experience with a variety of software repositories and OS/tools environments, and enjoys interacting with large communities of developers. • Work with popular external software distribution channels to drive visibility for Intel tools and libraries

• Develop and post content to assist using developer tool distribution channels with Intel tools

• Participate in community forums focused on those distribution channels

• Use analytics tools to derive insights and drive continuous improvement in developer experiences on those channels with Intel tools

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience

• Understanding of developer tool use cases and market segment

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS or MBA

• Presence in developer communities such as GitHub and Stack Overflow, and social media

•  

• Experience with software repositories and developer communities

• Knowledge of Intel developer tools and platforms and standard programming practices

• Developer marketing experience including the development of technical collateral

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with different levels of developers
