The Islamic Cultural Center School (ICC School) in New York City is inviting applications for the role of Early Education Teacher. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for visionary educators committed to shaping a nurturing and spiritually enriching early learning experience grounded in Islamic values.

The Early Education Program at ICC School is designed around a humanistic and child-centered philosophy. It emphasizes play as a cornerstone for developing problem-solving skills, imagination, creativity, and critical thinking. The curriculum encourages curiosity and exploration, honoring each child's unique learning path and spiritual development in a warm, caring environment.

As an Early Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and lead a vibrant early childhood education program integrating Islamic values with progressive pedagogy

• Build a nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and supported

• Mentor a team of committed educators focused on academic excellence and spiritual growth

• Collaborate with families to establish strong home-school connections based on mutual respect and shared faith

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (required)

• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (strongly preferred)

• New York State certification as School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS), School Building Leader (SBL), or School District Leader (SDL) (strongly preferred)

• At least 3 years of experience supervising staff in a childcare or educational setting for children aged 3–5

• Deep understanding of and alignment with Islamic principles

• Passionate about holistic and inquiry-based learning

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
