As a Patent Engineer, you will work closely with experienced patent attorneys, inventors, and innovators, guiding cutting-edge technologies through various stages of the patent process. Responsibilities will include preparing technical descriptions and drawings for patent applications, analyzing differences between client innovations and existing technologies, drafting persuasive arguments for U.S. and foreign patent offices, and negotiating the scope of patent protection. This role provides in-depth exposure to intellectual property law while staying connected to advanced engineering concepts.

As a Patent Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in patent prosecution under close mentorship, participating in real client work and training programs designed to prepare you for a potential full-time career as a patent engineer.

Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (strong preference), though candidates with stellar backgrounds in Physics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering will also be considered. Candidates with knowledge of wireless communications are particularly encouraged to apply.
