AGNEW ASSOCIATES, INC., a reputable consulting engineering firm based in Austin, TX, is seeking a passionate and experienced Electrical Engineer or Electrical Designer to join their growing team. This full-time, on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to purpose-driven projects in licensed healthcare facilities, K–12 schools, and higher education institutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Revit and designing electrical systems, such as power, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Whether you're a licensed electrical engineer or in the process of becoming one—or a skilled designer with deep Revit proficiency—this role provides the platform to make a tangible impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and coordinate complex electrical systems using Revit and BIM tools.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and stakeholders.

  • Work on meaningful and impactful projects requiring a high level of detail and compliance.

  • Ensure all designs adhere to applicable codes and standards for safety and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineer (licensed or on the path to licensure) OR Electrical Designer with at least 2+ years of Revit experience.

  • Experience in designing for healthcare or educational facilities is highly desirable.

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
