Description:
As an Electrical Designer supporting the Energy Division at Knobelsdorff (KE), you will play a vital role in transforming engineering designs into detailed construction documents. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and utilize software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Revit to model equipment, wiring/trenching details, and layouts. Your expertise will drive the creation of DC string layouts, PV system designs, trench layouts, and schedules for panels and conduits, ensuring that all documentation is precise and ready for execution.
Working closely with our Pre-Construction and Project teams, you will contribute to design-build projects by reconciling design-intent models with as-built conditions, supporting self-perform and field teams. With projects nationwide, including behind-the-meter, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Community Solar Gardens (CSG), and Distributed Generation (DG) solar energy, your work will directly impact the successful execution of renewable energy solutions.
