Electrical Engineer

Description:

TecHOUNDS is seeking an Electrical Engineer (CAD Design) with a passion for renewable energy, microgrids, fuel cells, and linear generators to join a growing company in South Orange County, CA. This role offers a hybrid work model and provides an opportunity to grow within the company, including potential ownership stakes!

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Design and develop renewable energy projects, microgrids, fuel cells, and linear generators
✔ Utilize AutoCAD to create and interpret control drawings and designs
✔ Engage in fieldwork for project implementation and maintenance
✔ Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to manage projects from start to finish
✔ Solve real-world engineering challenges related to design, development, and maintenance
✔ Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members

Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
✔ Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
✔ 2-10 years of relevant work experience
✔ Expertise in AutoCAD and control drawing/design
✔ Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
✔ Willingness to travel for fieldwork
✔ Interest in project management and hands-on problem-solving
