Description:

Ace Electric is seeking an Electrician to join their growing team, responsible for performing electrical installations and repairs in accordance with company policies and safety standards. You will work on projects in various sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and more. Responsibilities:

  • Install, alter, repair, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with project plans and company standards.

  • Coordinate installations with other construction trades.

  • Work with electrical components, including conduits, wires, panel-boards, light fixtures, devices, and other equipment.

  • Ensure safety standards and quality are met at all times, preventing waste and rework.

  • Operate hand and power tools, including benders, saws, threaders, and cable cutters.

  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuits, systems, and equipment.

  • Supervise Electrician Helpers and Apprentices as directed.

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation requirements.


Preferred Job Skills:

  • In-depth experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction.

  • Proficiency in installing conduit, wire, cable systems, and electrical equipment.

  • Strong mathematical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Dependable transportation and willingness to commute to remote job sites.

  • Effective communication skills.


Position Requirements:

  • License: Valid state driver’s license.

  • Certifications: OSHA Construction Outreach Training – 10 Hour.

  • Education: High School Graduate or GED.

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of electrical experience preferred.


Working Conditions:

  • Work in varying weather conditions and at heights up to 90 feet.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Must wear required personal protective equipment.

  • May require night shifts, weekends, and out-of-town work.

  • Job requires working in confined spaces like manholes, tunnels, and crawl spaces.
