Emergency Medicine Physician

CompHealth, a leading healthcare staffing and recruitment firm, is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a rural community hospital in Florida. This is an independent contractor role offering a flexible shift model with both day and night options. You will work in a modern, low-volume emergency department with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a rural hospital setting.

• Work scheduled shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Utilize the eClinicalWorks EMR system for documentation and patient records.

• Maintain up-to-date medical certifications and compliance with state licensing requirements.

Requirements:

• ABEM/AOBEM board certification OR Family Practice/Internal Medicine physicians with minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience.

• Active or eligible Florida medical license (IMLC physicians welcome).

• Current ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Ability to thrive in a low-volume emergency setting while delivering exceptional care.
