Description:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures optimal performance of critical building and production systems, including water purification, HVAC, pure steam, and cleanroom-supporting equipment. The technician conducts preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshoots equipment, ensures safety and compliance, and supports continuous facility operations for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair building systems including water purification, water for injection, pure steam, HVAC, chillers, and air compressors.

  • Perform daily preventive and reactive maintenance and assist with machinery repairs.

  • Support cleanroom and lab environments through inspections, schedules, and documented work orders.

  • Manage inventory, order parts/tools, perform physical inventory, and update equipment history in CMMS.

  • Respond to emergency calls, ensure repair quality, lead maintenance projects, and uphold OSHA-compliant safety standards.

  • Perform physical job duties including climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, and operating equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare settings.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school preferred).

  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and ISO-classified cleanrooms.

  • Experience with CMMS, Microsoft Office 365, technical schematics, and maintenance tools.

Additional Requirements:

  • 2nd shift schedule: 2pm–11pm, Monday–Friday.
