As an Engineering Manager – Project Management, you will have the overall responsibility for the successful conclusion of projects within the engineering government services division. You will oversee project managers, who coordinate teams to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget, to a high standard. Your proven leadership will be used to strategically manage risk, monitor finances and ensure each phase of work is started or completed on time

 

As an Engineering Manager - Project Management, a typical day might involve:

  • Providing leadership in your discipline, technology, and processes while keeping cost, schedule, and performance objectives in focus.
  • Assisting with portfolio planning and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Managing team activities related to recruitment, supervision, and the development of individual contributors to achieve group goals.
  • Active participation in external meetings and presentations at large internal meetings and forums.
  • Exemplifying, teaching, and implementing SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
  • Understand. Create. Simplify.

  • Strong teamwork skills, allowing for effective collaboration in a team environment.
