Engineering Project Management Support Specialist

GeoLogics Corporation is seeking an Engineering Project Management Support Specialist to support one of its top aerospace and defense clients based in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time, on-site, year-long contract role with potential for extension. The position is suited for candidates with strong project coordination skills and a solid understanding of engineering processes in the defense or aerospace domain.

As a key support resource for program managers and engineering teams, the successful candidate will be expected to manage various aspects of project execution, track project metrics, maintain control accounts with earned value metrics, and ensure seamless communication among internal teams and stakeholders. The role demands attention to detail, proficiency in project management tools, and an understanding of cost, schedule, and performance tracking principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting

• Provide support for CAM (Control Account Management) processes, including variance analysis and corrective actions

• Manage control accounts and maintain accurate earned value measurements

• Track project milestones and deliverables while identifying and escalating project risks or delays

• Coordinate effective communication across engineering teams, stakeholders, and external partners

• Support the preparation and maintenance of key project documentation such as meeting minutes, action items, and status reports

• Develop and maintain templates, tools, and reporting mechanisms to streamline project delivery

• Work closely with departments such as operations to ensure project alignment and timely execution

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (Green Card Holders not eligible)

• Strong understanding of project management principles and earned value methodologies

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Experience supporting engineering or defense-related teams is a strong advantage
