Engineering Technician

Description:

We are looking for an Engineer to support instrument refresh activities, technical installations, verification, and maintenance of Molecular instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform instrument decontamination and hardware installations.
• Install and configure instrument software.
• Execute assay runs and final instrument verifications.
• Support internal instrument systems used for the design and development of Molecular products.
• Participate in projects involving instrument servicing, technical support, and product maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective problem resolution.
• Maintain quality system effectiveness and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide technical training for assigned products when required.
• Review and provide input on field service tools used for Molecular instrumentation.

Work Requirements

• This is a fully onsite position in Itasca, Illinois.
• All responsibilities require onsite attendance.
