Engineering Technologist

Description:

Primary Talent Partners is hiring an Engineering Technologist for a 12-month contract (with potential extension) with a leading power and utilities client in Wade, NC. This hybrid role involves working three days per week onsite and provides an opportunity to contribute technical expertise in engineering operations and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise to solve complex engineering problems.

• Lead and oversee work in the assigned technical area with minimal supervision.

• Conduct engineering and related studies, preparing thorough technical reports, calculations, and documentation.

• Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work to meet business goals.

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships to effectively coordinate project activities.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

• Maintain accurate records and support company goals while representing the company professionally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (or equivalent), OR

• 4–6 years of experience with Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (or equivalent), OR

• 10–15 years of equivalent industry experience with no degree.

• Strong communication skills (oral and written).

• Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in the utility industry and understanding of basic project management principles.
