Equipment Trainer

Role Responsibilities
 

  • Serve as a mentor to new associates within the facility.
  • Provide one-on-one training using standardized curriculum specific to job functions.
  • Ensure associates demonstrate competency prior to certifying training completion.
  • Work closely with the Training Coordinator to develop, maintain, and improve training curriculum.
  • Deliver hands-on training and coaching related to the operation of equipment within the facility.
  • Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions related to equipment training.
  • Provide feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives related to training processes.
  • Accurately document associates’ training progress and completion.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating safe, efficient, and effective work practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives.
     

Minimum Qualifications
 

  • Functional expert within the assigned department.
  • Ability to follow and deliver training using a written curriculum.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback aligned with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
  • Ability to take high-level instruction and deliver results.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed.
  • Strong attendance and reliability.
     

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Bilingual (preferred).
  • Prior training, coaching, or mentoring experience.
     

Technical Competencies
 

  • Strong understanding of WMS and RF equipment, including department-specific transactions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
