Description:
Role Responsibilities
- Serve as a mentor to new associates within the facility.
- Provide one-on-one training using standardized curriculum specific to job functions.
- Ensure associates demonstrate competency prior to certifying training completion.
- Work closely with the Training Coordinator to develop, maintain, and improve training curriculum.
- Deliver hands-on training and coaching related to the operation of equipment within the facility.
- Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions related to equipment training.
- Provide feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives related to training processes.
- Accurately document associates’ training progress and completion.
- Lead by example by demonstrating safe, efficient, and effective work practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Functional expert within the assigned department.
- Ability to follow and deliver training using a written curriculum.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable providing constructive feedback aligned with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
- Ability to take high-level instruction and deliver results.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (preferred).
- Prior training, coaching, or mentoring experience.
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of WMS and RF equipment, including department-specific transactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
