MatzoBall — the iconic social event brand connecting Jewish singles through high-energy, meaningful gatherings — is seeking a creative, dynamic, and well-connected Event Manager to lead the planning and flawless execution of its signature event in New York City.

This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in fast-paced, people-centric environments and knows how to craft unforgettable social experiences. The Event Manager will oversee all aspects of event production, from scouting the perfect venue to ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, engaging, and memorable night.

As part of the MatzoBall team, you’ll play a key role in bringing people together, fostering community connections, and ensuring that every event delivers the brand’s signature mix of energy, excitement, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

• Venue Scouting & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and secure event venues across Manhattan that align with the MatzoBall brand and audience.

• Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors, venue partners, and suppliers for event setup, catering, entertainment, and logistics.

• Event Logistics: Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, staffing needs, and contingency measures.

• On-site Coordination: Oversee event setup, registration, and execution, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure all elements run smoothly.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with MatzoBall’s leadership and marketing teams to align the event’s theme, design, and execution with overall goals.

• Promotion Support: Assist in local marketing efforts and partnerships to increase attendance and visibility within the New York Jewish community.

• Guest Experience: Ensure attendees have a positive, engaging, and memorable experience that reflects the MatzoBall spirit.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing social, nightlife, or community events—preferably large-scale or high-profile gatherings.

• Strong knowledge of New York City venues, nightlife spaces, and vendor networks.

• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt quickly to dynamic event needs.

• A strong sense of creativity and attention to detail.

• Comfortable and familiar with Jewish cultural events and community-oriented audiences.

• Available for on-site coordination and preparatory activities in the weeks leading up to the event.
