As a Director of Events Management Strategy, you will define the market vision, collaborate with the product team to standardize and simplify the end-to-end event lifecycle, and communicate product value both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of event management processes within the life sciences industry and a proven ability to drive strategic initiatives from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic market vision for Veeva’s Events Management application.

• Define standardized processes and data frameworks for events management across the life sciences sector.

• Collaborate with product teams to guide the development of innovative features and solutions.

• Translate technical capabilities into meaningful business benefits for clients.

• Create compelling, value-driven go-to-market materials and communication strategies.

• Provide industry thought leadership through conferences, webinars, and written content.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Consulting) to ensure alignment and successful adoption.

• Lead discussions with senior stakeholders to promote adoption and demonstrate ROI.

• Drive operational excellence and measurable business outcomes.

• Travel up to 25% for conferences, client meetings, and internal strategy sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry, technology sector, or consulting, focusing on event lifecycle management.

• Proven expertise in end-to-end event management and its application in life sciences.

• Strong leadership with the ability to define strategy and drive execution across multiple business functions.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior-level executives.

• Demonstrated success in launching new products or offerings and achieving measurable adoption.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to operate autonomously and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project leadership experience.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $125,000 – $300,000 annually ($10,416 – $25,000 monthly)

• Additional eligibility for performance bonuses and stock options based on qualifications and contributions.

• Final compensation is determined based on experience, location, and overall fit.
