The ideal candidate will use a strategic mindset to drive the future success of the Coalition by aligning teams under one vision. With responsibility for all operational areas, this candidate will provide leadership for the organization including management in the following areas: fiscal, operational, program services delivery, community relations, and board relations.

Founded forty years ago, the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence continues to be the only provider of services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This crucial organization supports and advocates for the rights and protection of victims/survivors of stalking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and dating violence through crisis intervention and prevention service, advocacy, safe shelter, counseling, and education. Hope Harbor is the Coalition’s five-acre campus with three buildings: a 35-bed shelter, an administrative office and 8-unit apartment building.

Minimum Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience for 3 or more staff, preferably in a leadership position; Financial management experience including developing and managing a budget; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Successful criminal background check, DMV records check and valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications: College degree in a related field; Prior management experience with a non-profit organization; Fund development experience, including grant management.
