Love working with people in a fast paced enviornment? UAF Facilities Services is seeking two organized, energetic Human Resources assistants who can keep up with the revolving door in the HR office.This is a range recruitment and one position has the potential to be hired at the level of Human Resources Technican 4, Grade 78, dependent on the qualifications and experience of the selected finalist.

Experience with all levels of recruitment, payroll and personnel procedures, rules and regulations. Knowledge of University, federal, state and labor law requirements and collective bargaining agreements. Ability to use HR data systems, apply understanding of applicable laws, rules and policies. Ability to process large amounts of data, retrieve information using query tools and resources. Ability to train and convey information to others. Must have excellent computer skills to include spreadsheets, composition, data entry, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to practice and maintain strict confidentiality. This position must be able to work independently with little supervision; possess strong analytical skill; ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail under pressure.

Minimum of three years demonstrated HR-related work experience to include standard office procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year of college course work, and two years of technical human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
