Field Engineer

Description:

Unisys is actively hiring a Senior Tech Field Engineer to provide comprehensive on-site technical support to a base of large and complex clients in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, on-site role that demands a proactive and skilled field technician capable of handling advanced service functions and system installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the full spectrum of field engineering services, taking ownership of all service activities at the client site.

• Perform advanced maintenance, low-complexity installations, and hands-on support on a wide range of equipment.

• Provide actionable technical feedback for continuous improvement in systems and service delivery.

• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and knowledge to resolve issues and implement scheduled installations.

• Identify and address systemic issues within the team to improve overall service quality.

• Support colleagues by sharing technical expertise and assisting in complex problem resolution.

• Improve service metrics through enhanced documentation and performance reporting.

• Monitor processes and proactively suggest service improvements to managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Associate Degree or relevant technical certifications preferred

• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in field support or related technical roles

• Must be eligible for U.S. export control authorization as per government regulations
