Field Service Associate

Description:

Arjo is seeking a Driver / Field Service Associate to join their Englewood, NJ service center. The role focuses on the maintenance, cleaning, delivery, and pick-up of Arjo medical equipment, used on a rental basis by local hospitals and nursing homes. This position involves local driving using company vehicles within the NYC-Metro area.

The role offers full-time hours Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with rotating on-call coverage. Arjo emphasizes employee growth and provides paid training, development opportunities, competitive benefits, PTO, and performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medical equipment and documentation for delivery.

• Load and unload medical equipment.

• Drive a 26-foot box truck for deliveries and pick-ups.

• Process delivery and pick-up documentation accurately.

• Maintain vehicle appearance and ensure routine maintenance is completed.

• Clean and disinfect medical equipment to Arjo quality standards.

• Deliver the highest level of customer etiquette during patient and customer interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Clean driving record.

• Professional driving experience.

• Minimum of 2 years’ front-line customer service experience, ideally in a driving role.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs.

• Ability to work with solvents and cleaners in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
