Field Technician

Description:

Brunswick Corporation, a global leader in marine recreation and owner of Mercury Marine, is seeking a skilled Marine Service & Integration Field Technician to maintain and service Mercury Marine products at and off Disney property in Saint Cloud Landings, FL. This role requires a strong background in marine mechanical and electrical systems, particularly Mercury products, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide installation, repair, and maintenance services for Mercury Marine products both onsite and offsite.

• Advise contract services and accounts on product configuration, installation, and integration.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to marine engines, rigging, controls, gauges, and other systems.

• Maintain detailed service logs and reports of field activities.

• Operate equipment safely including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and boats.

• Perform boat rigging, de-rigging, launching, and removal.

• Communicate with Disney staff and prioritize service requests.

• Adapt to a dynamic work environment and flexible schedule including weekends.

Required Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of Mercury product marine vessel systems, especially electrical systems.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with customers, vendors, and staff.

• Effective planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Minimum 4-6 years of marine service experience.

• Diverse and advanced mechanical/electrical marine background.

• Willingness to travel approximately 40%, including occasional multi-week and international trips.

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

• Positive work ethic, motivated self-starter, integrity, and good organizational/time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years in marine service-related roles.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $61,400 – $98,600 annually.
