The Office of Economic Development Department is actively seeking a Financial Analyst.

This position reports to the Director of Operations and ensures that the Office of Economic Development (OED) stays on budget and compliant with all its various projects and agreements.

Examples of Work

• In conjunction with the Compliance Manager, monitors projects for compliance.
• Assists the Director of Operations and Compliance Manager with preparation and oversight of the annual operating and non-departmental budgets.
• Monitors monthly budget expenditures and revenue data to prevent funds control issues.
• Updates and maintains database to monitor contracts and leases at Cecil Commerce Center.
• Responsible for department needs relative to accounts payable, accounts receivable, monitoring of accounts, procurement, cash disbursements, loan oversight, and other financial assistance as needed.
• Reviews and analyzes general ledger postings and other financial data/reports to ensure accuracy and troubleshoots any variances.
• Maintains database to monitor economic development project and prepares reports.
