Equitable Advisors, a leading financial services organization with a network of over 4,300 financial professionals across the U.S., is seeking a Financial Consultant to join its New York team. The company is dedicated to improving financial wellness and empowering clients to achieve their financial goals. This role provides a structured pathway to becoming a professional Wealth Manager through comprehensive training, licensing sponsorship, and mentorship.

As a Financial Consultant, you will work closely with individuals and families to develop personalized financial strategies, provide investment guidance, and build long-term relationships that help clients achieve stability and prosperity. This position combines client engagement, financial analysis, and portfolio management within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture lasting client relationships through networking, meetings, and continuous engagement.

  • Maintain consistent communication to track financial progress and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Provide personalized financial recommendations and solutions aligned with each client’s goals and risk tolerance.

Financial Strategy Development:

  • Understand client objectives to design comprehensive financial and investment strategies.

  • Advise on products such as insurance, retirement plans, and investment portfolios.

  • Continuously evaluate market conditions and recommend adjustments as needed.

Product and Service Consultation:

  • Present and explain a variety of financial products and services.

  • Provide tailored solutions that align with client financial objectives and timelines.

Collaboration and Business Growth:

  • Work closely with senior advisors and mentors to gain expertise in wealth management.

  • Participate in team initiatives, networking events, and business development efforts to expand client reach.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Licensing:

  • State Life & Health Insurance License

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (sponsorship provided).

Training & Development:

Equitable Advisors provides comprehensive support to help you succeed in your financial consulting career, including:

  • FINRA Sponsorship: Licensing support for Series 7, Series 66, and SIE.

  • Preliminary Employment Period (PEP): 120-day intensive, hands-on training program.

  • Virtual University: Continuous learning and skill enhancement.

  • Mentorship & Coaching: Direct guidance from senior Vice Presidents and mentors.

  • Leadership Development School: For those aspiring to management roles.

  • Professional Designations: Encouragement to pursue credentials like CFP®, ChFC, and Credentialed Holistic Financial Coach.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Sign-On Payment: $250–$1,000 upon completion of the 120-day PEP program and required licenses.

  • Stable Pay: $34,500 annual salary (approx. $2,875/month) for the first 24 months to help establish your client base.

  • Commissions & Bonuses: Additional earnings through client success and sales performance.
