Responsibilities:

The Financial Management Consulting Manager helps clients optimize execution of a program helping the clients improve their financial operations. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Independently applying advanced technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions.
  • Provide direction to project teams and interacts with government personnel at the Branch and Division Head Level.
  • Design and implement a remediation strategy for property from policy development through implementation.
  • Design and implement a remediation strategy for payment transaction posting challenges.
  • Design and implement remediation strategies for internal-use software (IUS) and leases.
  • Develop and assess internal controls monitoring procedures.

Required


Experience

  • Professional Experience: Experience in financial statement compilation and reporting process as well as audit response and remediation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
  • Years of Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of full-time (excluding internships) experience within the past 10 years of progressive experience providing accounting services to the Federal Government agencies or Fortune 500 companies.

 

Minimum Education/ Certification

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States college or university in Business, Accounting or Finance.
