As a Financial Planner II, you will be an integral part of the Financial Planning Group—a centralized team that supports Wealth Management Teams nationwide. You will prepare customized and comprehensive financial plans that address a wide range of client needs, including investment analysis, retirement strategies, estate planning, tax optimization, insurance, and more. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to deepen their technical expertise and advance toward a client-facing advisory position.
Prepare detailed financial plans for both new and existing clients, including analyses related to investments, retirement, Social Security, education funding, estate planning, taxes, stock options, and risk management.
Collaborate with sales teams, advisors, and clients to collect, organize, and process financial data.
Utilize financial planning tools such as eMoney, Morningstar, SS Analyzer, and CRM systems to generate accurate and insightful analyses.
Work closely with advisor teams to ensure a seamless client experience, emphasizing accuracy, timeliness, and accountability.
Apply strong analytical and relationship management skills to understand client needs and provide tailored recommendations.
Partner with internal specialists in investments, tax, estate planning, and insurance to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
Stay informed about current financial planning strategies, tax laws, and regulatory changes to provide the most effective advice.
Co-present financial planning concepts and analysis to clients alongside advisors.
Contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Business, Economics, Finance, Psychology, or a related field.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, or completion of CFP® coursework with Series 65 certification.
Minimum of 3 years of direct, client-facing financial planning experience.
Strong verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, Morningstar, SS Analyzer).
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
Availability for travel up to 20%.
Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexibility for deadlines as required).
Fully remote position with a dedicated home office setup.
Travel may be required up to 20% for business or client engagements.
