Duties

As a Financial Specialist within the Office of the Associate Chief Information Officer, some of your specific duties will include:

• Performs a variety of routine technical and recurring financial management tasks
• Exams financial management documents for proper accounting classification and authorization
• Analyzes a variety of accounts; enters and processes data into various accounts and the general ledger
• Performs reconciliations
• Recognizes and adjusts differences between the general ledger and subsidiary accounts
• Prepares monthly trial balances and financial reports
• Reviews procedures related to the automated accounting system; and/or reviewing, for completeness of financial data from various sources.
