Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient meal tray assembly and cart loading
- Deliver meal carts and supplies throughout the hospital
- Operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment
- Clean kitchen, cafeteria, storage, and service areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, carts, and food service equipment
- Dispose of waste and maintain sanitation standards
- Stock and store food, supplies, and equipment
- Support food service operations and patient care teams
- Follow all hospital safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous food service experience required
- Cook experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate food service equipment or willingness to learn
- Food Handler Card
- Highly dependable and punctual
- Customer-service oriented
- Team players with positive attitudes
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food service experience is required.
- Restaurant, cafeteria, hospital, school dining, catering, or cook experience.
