Description:
Kohler Hospitality is seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join the guest services team at Lodge Kohler. The Front Desk Agent serves as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role requires handling reservations, check-ins/outs, room key programming, and providing information about the hotel and its amenities. The Front Desk Agent contributes to the warmth and service quality that Kohler is known for, creating a lasting positive impression for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, cheerful, and proper greetings to guests following Kohler Co. standards.
Register guests in and out of the Fidelio property management system.
Program and delete room keys using the Marlok system.
Provide guests with hotel information and assistance with luggage; summon bellman as needed.
Handle all money transactions at the front desk according to standard operating procedures.
Respond to reservation requests and special guest inquiries.
Explain rate structures, available rooms, facilities, and services.
Record and conduct guest room wake-up calls.
Act as switchboard operator after regular scheduled hours.
Coordinate with hotel departments to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
Ability to work independently with professionalism and maintain a focus on quality and customer service.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to stand or walk for the majority of each shift.
A valid driver’s license.
Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Work Schedule:
Shifts vary from 6:00am to 10:00pm, weekdays and weekends.
