The Role at a Glance

Our Life IT team is adding on a UI Developer to support our growing Application Development team. This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of your assigned area(s) of application development responsibility. In this role you will develop innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support. You will also deliver business application software solutions following the system development life cycle process.

What you'll be doing

Participates in analysis, design, and application development as part of Agile / Scrum Develop Team
Performs technical tasks including estimating, analysis, technical requirements, design, construction and unit & integration testing following SDLC.
Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with Scrum Team and Leadership to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
Participates and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (4 years experience in lieu of Bachelors)
• 2+ years of experience in application development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular required.
• Using the latest front-end technology, creating adaptable interfaces for online apps.
• Building and implementing top-notch user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework.
• Excellent esthetic capability with UX designing and development experience
• Have a good understanding of all aspects of the application like rendering huge dataset, fetching data using HTTP and authentication.
• Experience with or knowledge of microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful web services
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps
• Identifying and troubleshooting issues with front-end code
• Excellent communication, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
