Full-stack Ai Agent Engineer

Komo, an early-stage startup founded by ex-Google and Stanford alumni and backed by top-tier venture capital firms, is seeking an exceptionally talented Full-Stack AI Agent Engineer to help pioneer cutting-edge AI solutions for research and workflow automation.

In this role, you will design and build sophisticated yet maintainable AI applications, delivering production-ready features within days. You will collaborate with a highly skilled, motivated, and intellectually driven team, working closely to push the boundaries of AI technology. The position offers an in-person work environment in the Chelsea area of New York City, ensuring close collaboration and rapid innovation cycles.

Candidates should bring strong technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for building impactful AI products. Familiarity with reinforcement learning (RL) and post-training processes is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, production-ready AI applications.

• Deliver high-quality features quickly, with an emphasis on maintainability and scalability.

• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers, product leaders, and AI researchers.

• Explore innovative AI workflows to optimize research and operational processes.

• Contribute to both frontend and backend development for AI-powered solutions.

Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven track record in developing complex, high-performance AI or software applications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with post-training processes and reinforcement learning is advantageous but not required.
