Full Stack Developer

With over 110 million renters in the U.S., CasaPerks helps property management companies improve property NOI and asset value. The company is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their growing team to help deliver innovative, data-driven, integrated, and intuitive software solutions.

In this role, you'll work on both the frontend and backend features of the platform, including community feeds, chat functionality, AI-driven recommendations, and post/event listings. You will be an essential part of the development team, collaborating with offshore developers, optimizing performance, and contributing to technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain both frontend and backend features.

• Oversee offshore development teams to ensure smooth collaboration and high-quality results.

• Optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks and refining backend processes.

• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., property management systems, payment gateways, AI tools).

• Participate in code reviews and test designs.

• Enhance DevOps pipelines through automation, system health monitoring, and improving workflows.

• Monitor progress and scope, anticipate potential issues, and address them proactively.

• Participate in on-call support to maintain platform security and uptime.

• Take ownership of projects, contributing new ideas and taking on leadership responsibilities as the company grows.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of full-stack development experience.

• Frontend: React, React Native, Typescript, CSS.

• Backend: Nest.js, Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), or other backend technologies.

• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.

• APIs: Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Mobile & Web: Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development.

• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker).

• Security & Scalability: Understanding of OAuth, JWT, encryption, and performance optimization.

• Collaboration: Experience working with offshore teams, clear communication across time zones.

• Tickets & Documentation: Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with AI/ML tools, chat systems, or recommendation engines.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Understanding of serverless architecture and microservices.

• Experience with diagramming (ERD, Sequence Diagrams) & documenting features and fixes.
