Full Stack Developer

Are you a seasoned Full Stack Developer ready to influence a fast-paced, high-stakes trading environment? Our client, one of the world’s foremost physical commodities trading firms, is expanding its Rapid Application Development (RAD) team and seeks an experienced developer who thrives at the convergence of technology and trading.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end development of scalable and user-friendly applications that directly underpin the entire commodity trading lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with business users to understand their needs, shape innovative technical solutions, and help drive transformative advancements in trading technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver full stack development projects with a focus on reliability, scalability, and user experience.

• Develop backend services primarily using C# or Python with Oracle databases.

• Build responsive front-end interfaces using React or Angular frameworks, incorporating JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.

• Design and maintain robust integrations through RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

• Utilize modern DevOps tools including GitHub Copilot, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Jenkins to streamline development and deployment.

• Operate within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, demonstrating basic familiarity with these platforms.

• Collaborate in agile, fast-moving teams to rapidly iterate and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding junior developers and influencing best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Over 10 years of comprehensive full stack development experience.

• Minimum 4 years experience in a technical lead or senior developer capacity.

• Deep understanding of commodity trading systems and their technological needs.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to bridge technical and business requirements effectively.

• Comfortable working in an agile environment that demands adaptability and fast delivery.
