Description:

Eyvatek LLC is urgently hiring a GCP Data Architect for a 100% remote, contract-based position supporting UB Media in building a cutting-edge data platform. This position is tailored for senior professionals with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform and a strong background in data architecture, privacy compliance, and real-time data solutions.

The selected candidate will lead the architectural design and implementation of a modern, scalable, and privacy-compliant data platform distinct from Ulta’s enterprise system. The role demands a balance of technical leadership, hands-on development, and strategic collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design a next-gen GCP-based data platform focused on marketing and media analytics

• Build scalable data models, including slowly changing dimensions for customer journey insights

• Plan and lead proof-of-concept migrations from GCP to Databricks for machine learning use cases

• Ensure privacy compliance using clean room technologies (Google, Databricks)

• Enable real-time streaming and ingestion using Kafka or equivalent technologies

• Develop reusable frameworks for data pipelines using GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Composer

• Write Python scripts for data ingestion and transformation

• Collaborate with internal teams and media partners (e.g., IPG)

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in data architecture or engineering

• Expertise in GCP components: BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL

• Knowledge of clean room frameworks and identity resolution mechanisms

• Experience in predictive modeling, real-time data streams

• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend

• Familiarity with retail media analytics and KPIs

• Bonus: Hands-on experience with Databricks and ML/data pipelines
