General Cardiologist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE General Cardiologist to join its Cardiovascular Services team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest in Waco, Texas. This is a non-invasive role focused on delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care, including office-based practice, hospital rounds, cardiac catheterization, and collaboration with interventional and structural cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, cardiothoracic, and vascular surgery departments.

The practice involves non-invasive procedures such as transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear medicine, and vascular ultrasound. General cardiology call is not expected to exceed 1:5.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and manage both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.

• Perform non-invasive diagnostic procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in hospital rounds, cardiac catheterization, and related cardiovascular services.

• Provide patient education, preventive care, and follow-up management.

• Engage in team-based care with cardiology subspecialties and surgical teams.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO).

• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board.

• Fellowship trained and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.

• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, high-quality cardiovascular care.
