Description:

Almaden FC is seeking a Full-Time Girls Academy Coach to join their elite youth development program in San Jose, California. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and qualified coach to work with top-tier female athletes in a performance-driven, player-centered environment. The coach will play a key role in implementing the club’s game model, developing talent, and influencing the future of competitive girls' soccer in Northern California.

Key Responsibilities:
⚽ Lead and manage two Girls Academy teams as Head Coach
📅 Design and execute seasonal training plans, pre-season camps, and competitive schedules in collaboration with the Girls Academy Director
📈 Implement Almaden FC’s game model and player development philosophy across age groups
🗂 Maintain and manage team depth charts and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for performance athletes
💬 Foster clear communication with players, parents, and team managers, addressing concerns promptly and professionally
🤝 Represent Almaden FC as a brand ambassador within the local, regional, and national soccer communities
👥 Collaborate with multidisciplinary support staff to ensure alignment with tactical, technical, and holistic development strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a USSF B License or international equivalent

• Possesses an undergraduate degree

• Demonstrates a strong track record in youth, collegiate, professional, or national-level coaching

• Communicates effectively and excels in team collaboration and parent/player engagement

• Is tech-savvy and proficient with tools like Google Suite, spreadsheets, Hudl, databases, and presentation software

• Can manage independent projects and facilitate player training clinics and sessions

• Willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends

• Has reliable transportation and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
