Description:
The Global Electronic OEMs will establish trusted partnerships with assigned accounts, provide strategic direction, and drive growth opportunities. The role includes creating business plans, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring Phoenix Contact products deliver tangible economic value.
Key Responsibilities:
Interact with senior management and executive levels within assigned accounts
Develop and implement strategic roadmaps and business plans
Identify new growth opportunities for Phoenix Contact products and solutions
Define executive-level relationship strategies with procurement, engineering, and decision makers
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver tactical business plans
Monitor competitive activity and provide recommendations
Utilize CRM for customer planning, reporting, and opportunity tracking
Establish involvement in industry associations and customer events
Maintain technical competence in Phoenix Contact products and solutions
Travel domestically and internationally (35%–50%)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant discipline
8+ years’ experience in Technical Sales, Account Management, or Business Development
Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders globally
Proficiency in CRM and customer success software
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience managing sales through distribution channels a plus
Valid passport and driver’s license
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and travel overnight as required
