Global Payroll Lead

 

Description:

Curinos, a leader in financial services data and analytics, is hiring a Global Payroll Lead to manage payroll operations across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. This newly created role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing, maintaining payroll data integrity, and leading the implementation of a new payroll system in 2025. This role is currently an individual contributor but may expand to include management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for US, Canada, and UK, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

  • Stay current on global payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements for each jurisdiction.

  • Collaborate with external payroll providers, Finance, and HR teams for smooth payroll delivery.

  • Maintain payroll data integrity and employee records in compliance with data privacy regulations.

  • Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and security.

  • Coordinate year-end payroll processes, including tax reporting and compliance filings in all covered countries.

  • Handle complex payroll scenarios such as international assignments, expatriate payroll, and cross-border payments.

  • Lead payroll system improvements and manage the implementation of a new payroll platform.

  • Conduct payroll audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Provide guidance and training to HR, Finance, and Tax teams on payroll policies and processes.

  • Serve as Payroll Subject Matter Expert during M&A activities.

  • Potentially lead, mentor, and grow a payroll team in the future.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an international payroll leadership role managing payroll across multiple countries.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, statutory deductions, social security, and benefits compliance in US, Canada, and UK.

  • Experience working with international payroll service providers and vendor management.

  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other payroll software.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.

  • Adaptable, proactive, and a strong independent problem solver with a “resolver” mentality.

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
